Pride and Prejudice – Fighting for Gay, Lesbian & Transgender Rights in Oregon

Join the Lane County chapter for their annual membership meeting.

PROGRAM
Emcee - Paul Rhode, board president of Lane Co. Chapter of ACLU of OR

10 - 11 a.m. - Presentations on marriage equality and trans-justice given by Basic Rights Oregon representatives, Kyle White and Lily Oustinovskaya. An update on ACLU involvement in these areas will be given by ACLU of Oregon Field Director, Claire Syrett

11 - 11:45 a.m. - High school student leaders will be sharing about their experiences and work in their schools' Gay-Straight Alliances (GSA)

11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. - Small discussion groups, including time for feedback sharing from the groups

12:15 p.m. - Flash Mob - There's More Than One Way (led by the students)

12:20 - 12:40 p.m. (estimate) - ACLU chapter business

There will be light refreshments of coffee, juice, and goodies from Sweet Life and Divine Cupcake.
