PORTLAND, Ore. — Today, the ACLU of Oregon announced its nearly $1 million, three-part campaign to educate and engage more than 950,000 Oregon voters ahead of the Nov. 3 midterm elections.
“This November, we must protect our loved ones and neighbors by voting,” said Yvonne Garcia, Deputy Director of the ACLU of Oregon. “The ACLU of Oregon’s substantial investments in the midterm elections will support Get-Out-The-Vote programs across our state, while also supporting voter education on critical civil liberties issues, including voting, abortion and reproductive healthcare, and immigrant rights.”
The ACLU of Oregon has a three-part strategy to defend and advance democracy, civil liberties, and civil rights during the 2026 fall election season:
For the Nov. 3 elections, the ACLU of Oregon Democracy PAC, with funding support from the ACLU of Oregon and SEIU Local 503, is sending two mailers with education about the Oregon gubernatorial race. These are the links to mailer 1 and to mailer 2.
The ACLU of Oregon and ACLU of Oregon Democracy PAC educate voters about the issues at stake in elections and candidates’ positions and records on civil rights and civil liberties. The ACLU of Oregon has more than 52,000 members and donor supporters across the State of Oregon and is an affiliate of the national ACLU which has affiliates in 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico.
